Global United sells elderly panamax to Greece’s Ilios

Bulker player Global United, a Singapore subsidiary of India’s Synergy, has sold off one of its three vintage panamaxes for a firm $6.5m, a price $400,00 more than what pricing portal VesselsValue has set for the ship.

Sources say the Tsuneishi-built, 73,000 dwt Sanvi has gone to the Greek outfit, Ilios Shipping, another vintage bulker specialist who is only trading with classic panamax sized ships.
