Golar LNG mulls new bond issue in Oslo

Athens: Golar LNG Partners is thinking of issuing new senior unsecured bonds in Oslo, the proceeds from which will be used to finance its debt and shareholder loads, and for general corporate purposes.

The bonds will mature in May 2020 and will be denominated in US dollars, the company said today.

The number of bonds to be issued and their pricing has not yet been disclosed.

Danske Bank Markets, DNB Markets, Nordea Markets and Pareto Securities are acting as joint bookrunners for the bond issuance, with DVB Capital Markets and Fearnley Securities acting as co-managers.

Golar LNG has won two major floating LNG project contracts in the space of two months, in South America and in Equatorial Guinea.
