SGX-listed Golden Ocean Group has announced on Friday that it has come to an agreement with Chinese shipbuilder, Zhoushan Jinhaiwan Shipyard to accept late delivery of three vessels.
According to the company’s release, the agreement is related to the two Kamsarmax vessels Golden Excellence and Golden Explorer, and the Capesize vessel Golden Nantong.
Golden Ocean has agreed to accept late delivery of the vessels due to delay in the construction progress. The contract price for the three vessels has been lowered to USD 86.65 million. The vessels are expected to be delivered to the company in the fourth quarter of 2012. [23/07/12]
