Greece set for more port strikes

Greek port workers will strike again tomorrow for 48 hours, protesting privatisation of the country’s top two ports. Unions have warned of further strikes too.

Piraeus and Thessaloniki ports are both being sold as Athens desperately looks for cash to help its bailout. China’s Cosco Pacific has taken Piraeus while a number of bidders are believed to be lining up for Thessaloniki.
