Green light for Tangguh expansion

Jakarta: Jakarta has approved in principle a $12bn expansion of the Tangguh LNG facility in Papua, operator BP announced yesterday. The expansion will see some of the gas head to the Indonesian market for the first time.

The third train is slated to be up and running by 2018. Tangguh is an important source of LNG to both China and South Korea.  [02/11/12]
