Hanjin boss crashes out of Winter Olympics

Hanjin Shipping’s sharp downhill financial performance of late has forced the chief organiser of South Korea’s 2018 Winter Olympics to crash out.

Cho Yang-ho, the chairman of the Hanjin Group, which controls Olympic sponsor Korean Air, announced his resignation in a statement released by the Pyeongchang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (POCOG). Cho said he had to focus on turning around Hanjin Shipping which is going through a major restructuring at the moment.
