Harvey Gulf International Marine secures charter for CSV

US offshore vessel operator Harvey Gulf International Marine reports it has secured a charter for the multi-purpose construction support vessel Harvey Deep Sea until the end of 2018.

New Orleans, Louisiana-based Harvey Gulf did not identify the client but said that, combined with last week’s announcement of four long-term vessel charters, this new charter shows the company defying the industry trend. The vessel has been on charter to DOF Subsea USA.

Harvey Deep Sea is equipped with a 165-ton National Oilwell Varco (NOV)-standard heave-compensated knuckle boom crane, S92 Helideck, and 15ft by 18ft moon pool. It has capacity to accommodate two remotely operated underwater vehicles and 70 personnel.
