Vancouver: Teekay LNG has appointed Jane Hinkley to the position of chairman of the board, succeeding C. Sean Day.
Hinkley has been a director of Teekay LNG since 2005, having served as managing director of Navion Shipping which was acquired by Teekay in 2003. Day will remain a director while continuing his role as chairman of Teekay Corporation.
“I am very pleased that Ms. Hinkley is taking over the Chairmanship of Teekay LNG’s Board of Directors,” commented Day. “Since the Partnership’s initial public offering in 2005, Ms. Hinkley has been instrumental in guiding Teekay LNG’s growth strategy and building the Partnership into one of the world’s largest independent owners and operators of LNG carriers.”
Additionally, Vince Lok has also been appointed to the board of directors replacing Kenneth Hvid.
