Shenzhen: Humen port expects to bag RMB8.4bn in logistics project contracts today during a promotional event in Shenzhen.
Humen port claims it will sign 22 deals including 11 cooperation projects and 11 investment projects, and will cooperate with two domestic shipping companies to open near sea routes.
In June this year, Humen port went to Hong Kong for promotions and inked 12 investment projects worth a total of RMB15.9bn. The port has seen 650,000teu in container throughput in the first three quarters of this year, an increase of 1183% year on year. [15/10/12]
