Icon Offshore CEO and COO released by anti-corruption investigators

Kuala Lumpur: Icon Offshore has said in a statement on Bursa Malaysia that Dr Jamal Yusof and Rahman Yusof have been released by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission subject to an oral undertaking in the sum of RM100,000 ($28k) by two sureties.

The two were remanded earlier in the week by the commission to help investigations, although the scope or status of the investigations were never revealed. The company had deputy ceo Captain Hassan Ali running the every day operations of the company.

Icon Offshore is the largest pure play OSV provider in Malaysia.
