Kuala Lumpur: Malaysian offshore support vessel operator Icon Offshore has received two letters of award from an oil major to charter two anchor handling tug supply vessels.
The contracts are both for two years, with one year options, and commenced on July 5. Icon said that the vessels will provide transportation of supplies between supply bases and drilling rigs/platforms for the oil major.
The deals are worth a total of RM55m ($14.4m) inclusive of the extensions.
