Improvements to Shuaiba port discussed

Dubai: The committee of trade and transport at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) held today its third meeting for the year 2013 headed by the Khaled Al Khaled with the general director of the public authority for industry Barak Sabih and representatives of the authority, to discuss the establishment of a container zone outside Shuaiba Port to facilitate the movement of boxes in and out of the port.

The two sides showed their cooperation in discussing how to speed up issuing security clearances.

Shuaiba port is located 54 Kms south of Kuwait City has 24 berths including four for crude oil.  [15/04/13]
