Indonesia on course to import LNG by 2018

Jakarta: Indonesia, the world’s third-largest exporter of liquefied natural gas, will start importing the fuel by 2018 as domestic demand soars, the nation’s oil and gas regulator has told the Jakarta Post.

Qatar and Malaysia were the world’s biggest exporters of the fuel in 2011, according to BP’s Statistical Review of World Energy. [07/03/13]
