Jan De Nul orders dredger at Cosco Dalian Shipyard

Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry has announced that Belgian owner Jan De Nul has placed an order at Cosco Dalian Shipyard for the construction of a 18,000 cu m dredger.

The order marks Cosco Dalian Shipyard’s entry into the dredger construction market. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled in 2019.

Jan De Nul Group is major contractor in the dredging, offshore, civil and environmental sectors. The company’s fleet consists of dredgers, subsea installation vessels, cable lay vessels and wind turbine installation vessels.
