Our client is one of the established integrated solutions provider who has strong market presence in seafreight, airfreight, contract logistics and overland businesses across the 6 continents.


The Business Development Manager, Contract Logistics is responsible for developing new and maintaining existing contract logistics customers to meet the overall company objective and improve the budget performance.

The role:

  • Proactively manage and develop relationships with allocated portfolio of key customers
  • Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within allocated portfolio
  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics to increase revenue flows from the allocated portfolio
  • Maintain the integrity of data in internal sales reporting system through regular maintenance and training
  • Meet and preferably, exceed annual revenue and sales targets
  • Participate in business implementation and setting up of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Ensure that the personal knowledge of all relevant products and/services is up to date at all times

The requirements:

  • Degree in Business/Sales & Marketing/Transport and Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent
  • 5-10 years' relevant working experience in Contract Logistics
  • Excellent IT knowledge of WMS/ERP
  • Proven sales track record in contract logistics, transport and contract manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • High degree of communication and presentation skills
