Contract Manager

Overall Customer Relationship Management

Commercial Maritime, Oil & Gas/Offshore, and Shipyard
• Report to Area/Regional/Country Contract
• Recommend changes in asset procedures
• Prepare and review reports as specified by the contract and Contract Management process
• Implement quality initiatives at assigned contract
• Develop and maintain relations with government agencies and local authorities, related to the administration of the contract
• Develop and maintain contacts with the local network company management and it’s support functions
• Development of competent O&M resources and employee satisfaction
• Optimize assets such as inventories, receivables, fixed assets etc. tied to the contract
• Evaluate operations, maintenance, and financial data; define plans for improvement in financial performance, make recommendations for capital expenditures to improve plant performance, enforce conformance to safety procedures, policies and procedures
• Responsible for the profit and loss of the contract
• Responsible for making the contract annual and long term plan and the contract lifetime stock planning
• Responsible for making the lifetime forecast (LCF) and the annual budget
• Manage assigned contracts in the offshore marketplace, in accordance with company guidelines, the Contract Management process and general management practices in a safe and cost effective way, implementing preventive and corrective action as necessary

Main responsibilities:

• Develop new customer accounts through marketing of company products and services
• Continue to actively cultivate customer relationships to ensure long-term market success

Development responsibilities:

• Develop the response team according to marine process for way of working with the customer
• Develop the working routines at the plant in accordance with Contract Management process

Information Management:
• Ability to create strong sales presentations from concept to completion using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Knowledge and skill in using specified technological tools including laptop, cell phone, MS Office, CRM packages

Communication skills:

• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• Must always observe and comply with high professional and ethical standards and project a customer orientated professional image
• Must be a self-starter, energetic and motivated, who enjoys a fast paced environment

Other skills:

• Must be able to work independently as well as able to work in teams and foster team spirit
• Able to work / communicate and appreciate multi-cultural environment
• Must be diligent, punctual and well organized
• Strong ability to handle multiple issues, projects, and deadlines
• Must be flexible to travel, both domestic and international, based the Company’s needs

Professional skills:

• Knowledge of two and four stroke diesel operation and maintenance
• Well developed sales and presentation skills
• Demonstrate effective time management and attention to detail
• Knowledge of US Gulf Shipyard, Maritime, and Offshore Industries
