Description

Our client is one of the leading MNC in the shipping industry. Due to expansion they are on the lookout for a candidate that has a good knowledge of IT Technology related to eCommerce and EDI.

Responsibilities:

  • Center of expertise for EDI/eCommerce applications
  • Understand customer requirements for EDI solutions and implement these with the various stakeholder in company
  • Drive EDI initiatives with regional/country CS teams to increase company EDI footprint as well as to increase CS effectiveness, Speed to Market and control costs to budget
  • Coordinate Onboarding and Maintenance of customer data for EDI mapping needs
  • Provide Guidance and Assistance to regional eReps for EDI and eCommerce matters, based on user queries and requests
  • Execute key CS projects as assigned for run-the-business and special projects as per overall workplan
  • Backup for Trade Compliance matters in absence of the CS Process Manager
  • Actively seek out sharing/leveraging of systems and best practices, benchmarking and other tools to improve quality of Customer Service and improve customer satisfaction; In all cases review the current client processes and systems and see if/how we can align to their way of working
  • Asist the team in the LARA Onboarding Project for the EDI and eCommerce Tacks for an on-time and on-specs system rollout

Requirement:

  • University degree holder (Bachelor)
  • 3-5 years CS Experience, ideally including EDI and / or eCommerce systems; Project Management Experience Highly Desired
  • Customer Focused
  • Good Communicator
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Strong Project Execution skills and
  • Strong Organization, and Process Improvement Skills
  • Ability to think out of the box and develop creative and flexible solutions
  • Understanding of Customer Support processes, Documentation and security initiatives
  • Understanding of EDI and other eCommerce landscape
  • Commercial Acumen
  • Ability to Build Strong and Effective Working Relationships with Peers in Corporate/GSSC/Regions
  • Clear understanding of company policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of IT technology related to eCommerce, and EDI
  • Understanding of Customer Service Industry Best Practice Initiatives
