Our client is a global player for offshore support services and assets. Direct Search Asia is supporting them in the search for a Fleet Director (Offshore)

Brief Job Scope:

  • Coordinate and monitor safe and efficient operation of the offshore fleet in accordance with global standards of relevant legislation and quality standards
  • Control and management of PMS, repair and maintenance activities
  • Manage activities in relation to vessel inspections/audits, dockings and other sustainable commercial viability of the fleet
  • Coordinate the various functional aspects of the team configuration including technical management, marine superintendents, purchasing and crewing teams
  • Ensure proper training of fleet team, and responsible for building a strong cohesive team
  • Keep abreast of latest developments in the company and industry and take proactive approach towards the value-added service departments
  • Engage actively with clients to understand their short and long term achievements and ensure compliance



  • Proven track record in senior management capacity
  • Possess good leadership and people management skills
  • Extensive fleet management experience and ideally a background at sea, having since moved ashore and worked your way up from superintendent to management
  • Candidate must possess strong technical background for offshore vessels/facilities
  • Managed a fleet of at least 30 vessels
  • Candidates with prior experience working at Saudi Arabia will have added advantage
