Marine & Stationary Power Equipment National Sales Manager
Overall responsibility for sales efforts within North America - including oversight of regional sales engineers and inside sales.
Thorough understanding of marine and/or stationary power plants including 4 and 2 stroke diesel engines with all fuel types, heavy, light and gas fueled
Knowledge of turbochargers and associated engine equipment
Demonstrated successful track record in engineering sales in the marine or stationary power industries
Experience managing a team of remote-based sales engineers
Ability to travel extensively 40-50%
Attendance at multiple industry trade shows, networking events, customer visits including power plants, shipyards, vessel visits, etc.
Extensive rolodex of industry contacts, preferably at the highest engineering levels
B.S. Degree in Engineering (Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred)
5+ years experience within the stationary power or marine industry
Experience with diesel engines with 1000 HP and above
US Citizenship or Green Card - no work sponsorships will be offered
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
