Superyacht Manager - Europe
In this challenging role you will work closely to understand the needs and preferences of individual owners in order to deliver a first class customer experience.
The role is varied and will include assisting with technical support through to co-ordinating ISM audits, insurance matters and supplier management of goods and services.
You will also be required to co-ordinate closely with crew in respect to employment contracts and procedures, recruitment and selection, documentation and training, insurance and travel logistics. A key element of the role will be to provide financial and budgetary oversight i.e. procurement thresholds, overspend, invoice management, fund requests etc and ensure that accounts and monthly budgets are communicated effectively to stake-holders.
The ideal candidate will possess both seagoing and shore based experience within the luxury yacht sector and will have a good knowledge of superyacht operational requirements.
This is a dynamic position that will involve frequent international travel often at short notice. The successful candidate will provide pro-active shore support to vessels so creativity in respect to problem solving and the ability to assertively make decisions will be essential. You will be directly liaising with a range of stakeholders from principal owners to service providers so strong interpersonal and communication skills will also be needed. Excellent written and spoken English language skills are essential and preference will be given to candidates with one or more of the following additional languages: French, German or Russian.
