Vessel IT Manager, Singapore (3440)

An exciting opportunity to join a renowned shipping organisation as a Vessel IT Manager.

In this role, you will be in charge of both shore and maritime IT support, infrastructure, security, and business applications. You will manage 3rd party outsourced partners and lead the IT operations, including Help Desk, Infrastructure, and Application teams.  Oversees the enhancement and communication of IT policies and procedures, including cybersecurity. Builds vendor relationships and negotiates cost-effective contracts.

Your strategic responsibilities encompass the conceptualization, proposal, and maintenance of a resilient IT infrastructure on a global scale. This infrastructure is designed to not only support but also enhance user productivity and efficiency.

To be suitable for this role, you should have:

• Degree or diploma in IT, computer science or similar from a recognized institution
• Minimum 8 years of experience in an IT Infrastructure environment, with at least 3 years of team leadership
• 2 years managing ERP, or onshore business applications
• 3rd party outsource partner management
• Understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management
• Understanding of Helpdesk technology including Active Directory, Intune
• Willing to travel to visit Vessels (Occasionally)
