A global investment organisation is hiring for Vessel Operators with a minimum of 3 years' experience in dry bulk to join it’s newly created, stand-alone shipping entity head-quartered in London. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join an organisation with significant growth potential at an early phase in it’s evolution and development.

The Role
This is a full and varied role overseeing the safe, profitable and efficient day-to-day operations of the dry cargo fleet working closely with both internal and external counterparts including the in-house commercial and asset management team, charterers, vessel managers, masters, agents and brokers.

The Person 
To be considered you will already be working within dry bulk vessel operations (3 years minimum) with experience of Handy, Supramax, Kamsarmax and/or Cape size vessels.
Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential and must be able to be demonstrated.
You will have a thorough understanding of applicable industry legislation, rules, regulations and standards.
Membership and qualification to the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers is highly desirable.
Evidence of further academic study in an appropriate subject is desirable.
