Jumeirah Offshore orders two diving support vessels at Huangpu Wenchong

Singapore-based Jumeirah Offshore has signed shipbuilding contracts with CSSC-affiliated Huangpu Wenchong Shipyard for the construction of one diving support vessel with an option for a further vessel.

The vessel is jointly designed by Norwegian company Skipsteknisk and Shanghai Bestway and will be classified by CCS. Other contract details were not revealed.

Jumeirah Offshore is an offshore service provider incorporated in May this year.

Geng Yuejie, president of Jumeirah Offshore said the diving support vessel will expand its offshore service portfolio and the company hopes to establish a long-term cooperation with CSSC.
