Keld Pedersen takes over as MD of Gujarat Pipavav Port

Mumbai: Keld Pedersen will succeed Prakash Tulsiani as managing director of the APM Terminals (APMT) operated Gujarat Pipavav Port (GPPL), with effect from May 1, 2015. The appointment is subject to approval by shareholders and other statutory bodies.

Pedersen has worked at APMT since the inception of the company; and has earlier worked in the group’s offices and facilities in, among others, Cameroon, Malaysia and the headquarters in The Hague, Netherlands. He has been ceo of APM Terminals in Gothenburg since the company took over the container port in early-2012.

Tulsiani had resigned last month after a six-year stint as managing director of GPPL, set on the Gujarat coast. He had earlier been ceo of another APMT facility, Gateway Terminals India, at Jawaharlal Nehru port.
