Korea Line said today that it has signed a seven-year charter contract with an owner in Asia for two MR tankers worth KRW77.89bn ($70.74m).
The charter is scheduled to commence in April 2017, and includes an option for a further two years.
Meanwhile, local media is claiming that the company has alsp ordered two newbuild 50,000 dwt bulkers, scheduled to deliver in June 2017.
Korea Line’s fleet today stands at 26 ships totalling 2.69m dwt – a mix of bulkers, LNG carriers, tankers and one car carrier.
