KOTC set for newbuild spree

Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC) has revealed that it is looking to order three VLGCs, one VLCC, and four MR product tankers.

The company has opened the pre-qualifification process inviting shipyards to tender for the design and construction of the vessels. Yards have until December 20 to submit applications.

KOTC currently has a fleet of 29 vessels made up of tankers and LPG carriers, predominantly built in Korea.
