Kuang Ming plans to offload 2 bulkers

Taipei: Taiwan-based Kuang Ming Shipping Corp is planning to sell two bulk carriers to optimize the company’s bulker fleet.
“We have the intention to sell two panamaxes, but we have not found a buyer yet. The two ships are comparatively old, we plan to sell them to optimize our fleet.” A spokesperson from the company said to SinoShip News.
Currently, the company operates 18 bulk carriers consisting of self owned ships and chartered ships. Kuang Ming aims to bring the fleet average age down to under 6 years.[17/10/12]
