Kumiai Navigation returns to Kawasaki Heavy for a VLGC

Kumiai Navigation has returned to its favoured yard, Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI), for a VLGC.

Kumiai Navigation is a 100%-owned Singapore subsidiary of Kumiai Senpaku. Its latest order will deliver in 2020. No price has been revealed.

Kumiai also has another KHI VLGC due for delivery in March 2019, while all four of its existing VLGC fleet were built at the same Japanese yard.

Aside from VLGCs Kumiai is involved in dry bulk with a diverse range of bulkers in its fleet.
