Larsen & Toubro wins EPCIC deal at Daman

India’s Larsen & Toubro has won a contract, via subsidiary L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, encompassing engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning for the Daman Development Project.

Awarded by India’s Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), the contract was won against international competitive bidding and is valued at around $177m.

The project is part of ONGC’s strategy to extract gas from the Daman Field, and is located in the south western part of Tapti-Daman block offshore Mumbai.

 

Grant Rowles

Grant spent nine years at Informa Group based in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. He gained strong management experience in publishing, conferences and awards schemes in the shipping and legal areas, working on a number of titles including Lloyd's List. In 2009 Grant joined Seatrade responsible for the commercial development of Seatrade’s Asia products. In 2012, with Sam Chambers, he co-founded Asia Shipping Media.
