With just three days to go until voting closes Splash readers are narrowly putting their bets on LNG as the sector with the best prospects for shipping this year. In the latest MarPoll, our quarterly online survey, LNG has garnered 32.74% of the 360 votes cast so far with containers 3.5% behind and dry bulk in third place.
Of the three main segments – containers, tankers and dry bulk – only the latter is thought by readers to be on course for better freight rates in 2018 than last year.
