M2 Subsea forms subsea alliance with Harvey Gulf Marine

ROV service provider M2 Subsea has formed an alliance with vessel operator Harvey Gulf Marine International to provide subsea ROV services in the Gulf of Mexico.

The alliance will see M2 Subsea ROVs utilised onboard Harvey Gulf’s platform supply vessel Harvey Bronco.

“The Harvey Bronco is a significant milestone for us as we continue to build on our successful vessel opportunities in the US and further enhance our overall service provision,” said Mike Arnold, CEO of M2 Subsea.

“This alliance complements our existing fleet of multi-purpose support and light construction vessels, enabling Harvey Gulf to offer a broader range of services and superior performance to all other Jones Act vessel operators in the Gulf of Mexico,” said Shane Guidry, CEO of Harvey Gulf Marine.

The Harvey Bronco vessel will be ported and standby at Harvey’s Gulf’s operation yard in Port Fourchon, Louisiana. It is due to be deployed for an underwater inspection work in August.
