Malaysian owner Austbulk moves into unexplored territory

Malaysian owner Austbulk has moved into unexplored territory. The family owned shipowner has splashed out $6.5m for the 75,000 dwt Orsolina Bottiglieri – one of three ships just sold by Naples-based Italian shipowner Rizzo Bottiglieri .

Austbulk has been on the selling side of late, offloading four elderly handysize ships in 2015 while no sales were registered by the bulker player in 2016. In addition to the elderly panaxmax it has just have snapped up, Austbulk has now two 2005-built handysize ships on its fleet list.
