Maranakis swoops for SK cape trio

Evangelos Marinakis-led Capital Ship Management has been revealed by brokers as the buyer of three Korean capes belonging to SK Shipping. The Greek tycoon has paid on an en bloc price of $66.5m for the K. Endeavour, K. Adventure and K. Ambition – all built in South Korea in 2011 and 2012.

SK Shipping has been paring back its dry bulk assets all year with more bulkers believed to be in the shop window.
