Marnavi building two platform supply vessels in Turkey

Naples: Marnavi has ordered two further 4,000-dwt platform support vessels at the Selah shipyard, Turkey.

The contracts are valued at $30m per vessel, which are to be named Ievoli Amber and Ievoli Cobalt (pictured), reports say.

The units will be delivered in the first and second quarter of 2016 respectively.

The two PSVs will be employed primarily in the Brazilian market, but Marnavi says it is open to other business opportunities.

Marnavi currently has 14 offshore vessels in its live fleet. The Naples-based operator is awaiting delivery of the anchor handing tug supply (AHTS) vessel Ievoli Brown later this year, which is under construction at the ABG Shipyard in Mumbai, India.
