Nantong Mingde Heavy Industry has signed a strategic agreement with US-based Cambridge Energy Group, to jointly develop LNG vessels and logistics.
According to the agreement, the two groups will jointly develop and build 5+4 140,000cbm LNG vessels and about ten to twelve 20000cbm-40000cbm LNG vessels and two FLNGs with an annual capacity of 2 million tons each.
“This is a new breakthrough and challenge to Mingde Heavy Industry,” said Ji Fenghua, President of Mingde Heavy Industry.
US-listed Cambridge Energy Group is an integrated and internationally based LNG niche energy group which is involved in various LNG-related project development as well as the production, transmission, distribution and supply of LNG internationally. [25/07/12]
