Navig8 closes cape desk, hands fleet to SwissMarine

Navig8 has handed over all its chartered in capesizes to SwissMarine. According to a recent Baltic Exchange market report: “Navig8 relet its period fleet en bloc to SwissMarine for the balance of period after reportedly closing its Cape desk.”

Navig8’s operations now are primarily focused on crude and chemical tankers as well as OSVs.

SwissMarine’s has more than 50 capes on time charter as well as owning 11 capes.
