Navix Maritime Chartering wins Kazmortransflot tanker contract

Göteborg: Swedish commercial manager Navix Maritime Chartering has announced a new contract with Kazakhstan’s Kazmortransflot.

Navix will manage one of six purpose built shallow drafted oil products tankers, MT Atyrau (13,000 dwt, built 2009), commencing autumn 2015.

According to a statement from Navix, the vessel will trade in the Baltic and North West Europe, and the deal in line with its strategy to build up a flexible fleet in both the clean and dirty petroleum products market.

Navix Maritime Chartering has a focus on tanker chartering, ship operations and management with 11 vessels on its books according to its website.
