NCC snaps up Mipo pair

Dubai: The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) has announced that its subsidiary National Company for Chemicals Shipping (NCC) has bought a pair of 2009-built Korean tankers for $28.5m each.

NCC did not disclose who it bought the Hyundai Mipo-built tankers from. The latest acquisition takes NCC’s chemical fleet to 24 ships.

NCC was established in partnership with SABIC and has become one of the largest chemical tanker owners in the world.
