Noble confirms sale of kamsarmax quartet

Hong Kong commodity trader Noble Group is selling four kamsarmax bulk carrier vessels as part of its debt reduction efforts.

Noble says the sale will fetch $95m payable in cash on closing. Proceeds after the repayment of bank loans associated with the vessels and other costs will be around $30m.

The sale was reported last week in Splash’s regular S&P column Weekly Broker, where the four vessels were identified as Ocean Ambition (2014-built), Ocean Forte (2015-built), Ocean Vision (2015-built) and Ocean Integrity (2015-built).

Allied Shipbrokers reported the buyer as new Norwegian outfit 2020 Bulkers, created by Tor Olav Troim in October.
