Danish owner Norden has acquired a secondhand MR tanker from Greek owner Empire Navigation.
According to broking sources, the 50,000dwt Kirstin has been sold to Norden for $19.25m. In May, It was reported that the vessel was sold to UK’s Union Maritime for $18.7m. Sources said Union Maritime walked away from the deal, giving Norden the opportunity to fetch the eight-year-old vessel.
