Paragon Offshore gets North Sea jackup deal

Houston-headquartered offshore driller Paragon Offshore has announced a new contract for jackup rig B391 in its latest fleet status report.

The rig has won a contract with Centrica for light well intervention services in the UK North Sea, commencing late October and expected to finish around the end of November. The rig has been contracted on a day rate of $53,000.

The jackup had been warm stacked at Great Yarmouth, UK after coming off a contract with Centrica in late May.
