Peermohamed steps down as Norwegian Hull Club CEO

Faz Peermohamed will step down as CEO of the Norwegian Hull Club (NHC) on April 30 after just four months in the position.

The club said Peermohamed (pictured) is unable to relocate his family to Norway from London due to a change in personal circumstances. His departure is by mutual agreement with the mutual.

Hans Christian Seim, the club’s chief operating officer (COO), will become acting CEO while the board considers a new appointment. Seim said Peermohamed “has truly left behind an organisation well fit to take on tomorrow’s challenges”.

“NHC approved strategy remains. The opening of the London office being a very important step. NHC is also recruiting new employees that will strengthen NHC’s service to clients, as well as securing the in-house experience transfer from employees that are retiring. All important steps to take NHC forward,” Seim added.

Peermohamed was Ince & Co’s global head of shipping before joining NHC on January 1 this year.
