Manila: Phoenix Petroleum Philippines is spending P242m to buy a new 14,000dwt product tanker for its recently acquired subsidiary Chelsea Shipping Corp.
Phoenix Petroleum paid P1.4bn last October to buy out Chelsea Shipping. The fleet buildup is designed to reduce Phoenix’s exposure to the charter markets. [25/01/13]
