Pipeline attack halts oil shipments from Hariga again

Cairo: Libya’s National Oil Corporation has said it will take until mid-week to fix an oil pipeline which was attacked on Saturday. A bomb blew up a portion of the pipeline that connects El Sarir oilfield to Hariga port. While the fire was put out yesterday, the damage to the pipeline will take another couple of days to fix. Hariga had only just reopened after a strike by security guards. It is one of very few ports still working in Libya.
