Dubai seismic operator Polarcus has received a letter of award from Shell Myanmar Energy for a 3D marine seismic project offshore Myanmar.

The project is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2015, although Polarcus did not provide any information on the size or duration of the survey.

Including this latest award, September has seen Polarcus awarded three contracts. It was awarded a four month survey offshore Brazil, and a one month survey across the Roebuck Basin, offshore the North West Shelf off Australia.
