Prime Shipping Corporation orders chemical tanker pair at Ningbo Xinle Shipbuilding

Vietnamese tanker operator Prime Shipping Corporation has signed shipbuilding contracts with Ningbo Xinle Shipbuilding for the construction of two 26,300dwt chemical tankers with options to add another two.

The vessels are designed by Shanghai-based Odely Marine Engineering and deliveries are scheduled to begin from July, 2017.

Prime currently has a fleet of six tankers ranging from 7,000 to 45,000 dwt and 2 LPG carriers.
