Jakarta: State-run port operator Pelindo II is looking for companies to join a tender to acquire a 49% stake in a planned product terminal at NewPriok Port in the Indonesian capital.
The estimated storage capacity of the terminal is around 1m cu m.
NewPriok is a giant development to try and alleviate congestion at the nation’s top port, Tanjung Priok.
NewPriok will accommodate up to 13m teu annually, more than tripling the capacity of Tanjung Priok to over 18m teu when fully completed in 2023. [18/04/13]
