PV Drilling secures jackup rig contract from KrisEnergy

Petrovietnam Drilling & Well Service Corporation (PV Drilling) has announced that it has entered into a contract with Singapore’s KrisEnergy for the provision of jackup rig PV Drilling I in the Gulf Of Thailand.

The contract is for six firm wells and two optional wells, with the total value of the contract around $6m.

The rig will be mobilized and commence operations early October 2017.

PV Drilling says the new contract is in line with the company’s business strategy to expand its drilling rig services into international markets.
