Quiet Aden lets go of 66 workers

Muscat: The Port of Aden has laid off 66 workers as traffic continues to slow. Once controlled by DP World, Aden has struggled to attract container business since the Dubai port operator quit a couple of years ago.

The lay-offs have sparked significant protests from local workers who have called for changes in top management at the port.  [01/04/13]
