Reach Subsea gets timecharter in North Sea

Reach Subsea’s research/survey vessel Edda Fonn, which is jointly operated with MMT Sweden, has been fixed on a 60-day timecharter in the North Sea. The rate for the contract was not disclosed.

The vessel (pictured) will primarily be engaged in mapping the seabed, light construction and seabed intervention, Reach said in an exchange filing today.

The company added that multipurpose support vessel Stril Explorer, which is also jointly operated between the two firms, is expected to have high utilisation during the same period.

The contract will commence as soon as the vessel arrives from the Mediterranean, where the vessel recently completed a five-month contract.
